Israel Keyes and Missing Persons Info

NamUs Information

"NamUs" (short for "National Missing and Unidentified Persons System") is a database that contains information about missing persons and unidentified or unclaimed bodies in the United States. According to NamUs, over 600,000 individuals go missing in the US every year. In many of these cases, the subjects are located and reunited with their families... but others cannot be resolved unless additional information is found. Some cases are unlikely to ever be "officially" closed because the primary suspect is dead, but has not been found guilty in a court of law. Three of Israel Keyes's presumed victims are still listed as missing in NamUs because their bodies have not been found.

The oldest missing persons case listed on NamUs is Marvin Alvin Clark, who disappeared from Tigard, OR in 1936.  This year, Marvin would turn 167 years old.

Each person in this database had a family, dreams for the future, and their own set of character traits that is completely unique in the history of humanity. We fervently hope that each of these individuals will be returned to their homes, or at the very least, that their stories can be told. Cases can often be solved using tiny details that may seem insignificant until the information reaches the person who needs to hear it. We ask that you take some time to look through the database and share any pertinent information with the appropriate authorities. However, please do not contact anyone who is personally affected by these cases, because it is essential that their right to privacy is respected.
